New old stock 1989 Garelli TEAM 3V manual shift moped.
Freshly imported from a closed Garelli dealer in northern Italy.
Unique 3 speed engine uses a kick start to start the engine and a grip shift on the left control to change gears. What would normally be the rear brake lever is a clutch lever and now the rear brake is managed by a foot brake.
This engine also uses a standard air cooled top end as opposed to the common fan-cooled cylinder you find on most TEAMs. Tossing a Polini kit on this bike should be pretty straight forward.
Bike comes with a few documents under the seat and a spare front sprocket. A mirror is also under the seat in the cargo compartment if someone wishes to install it on the bars.
This bike is as it was imported. We have not touched this bike at all and have not tried to start it. It is new old stock but does have some blemishes from the years. Small and minor scuffs in the finish are present. The seat cover could use a little glue on one corner. The lock cover to the seat latch appears to be missing and there is a key broken off in the fork lock. Other than that, this is a beautiful example of a Garelli.
