This is a late model Piaggio Grillo. The Grillo represented the peak of Piaggio's moped technology when it was introduced and this is a great example of one.
This Grillo shares the same family of engines that can be found on Ciao, Bravo, Grande, Si, etc. This particular one is equipped with a factory Ducati CDI that provides a strong and reliable spark. The dual-variated transmission can easily tackle hills and carry larger riders. The mono-shock rear suspension is sturdy and smooth.
Cruising on 14" wheels makes this one nimble bike for in-town errands. The Giannelli Fire gives a nice speed boost while still keeping it quiet.
This is a great bike but there are a couple spots on it. One of the Grillo Badges is missing. You can see it in one of the photos on the lower part of the gas tank. It is also missing the Piaggio badge below the headlight. The turn signals are also missing a couple lenses and have a couple cranks. We've left them on in case its new owner wants to fix them but they are also easily removed/replaced.
